Why This Program Won’t Work For You
Like I said, it’s a weird place to start but I figure you’re as busy as I am and I don’t want to waste your time.

Let’s start off with two timeless truths about human behavior (and this is why what I’m teaching you will work in every single market…no exceptions!).
Timeless Truth #1: People get Emotional about Messages and Offers that Peak their Curiosity
Think back to the last purchase you made that offered you a solution to a problem you wanted solved…it may have been a few months, weeks or even just a couple of days ago. What emotion(s) did you have when you made that purchase?
Were you excited to have your new solution arrive and finally solve the problem that’s been nagging you? And then on the day it arrived, did you get a rush of excitement as you started to cut the package open?
Most people will admit to feeling some kind of emotion in anticipation for something that promises to make their lives (business or personal) better. Your market is no exception. They may not tell you about it but believe me they’re feeling something.
And it’s that curiosity over the promise of something that will personally alter their lives that starts the emotional downpour.
Don’t kid yourself into thinking that ‘telling’ them all about your product or service is emotionally appealing…it just isn’t! I’m talking about butterflies in the stomach emotion.
Ask yourself this…does droning on about all the features of your offer cause someone’s toes to curl up? Or do you believe listing all of your glowing achievements in the hopes of impressing your audience into taking action will do the trick?
No, it sure doesn’t.
Timeless Truth #2: People Won’t Take Action Over a Message or Offer that Doesn’t Make them Personally Curious
In many ways, good marketing is all about peaking curiosity. And as simple as it sounds there is so much involved in peaking curiosity.
Think about the last time you drove on the freeway and spotted a patrol car, tow-truck and ambulance parked on the side of the road.
You and every other driver are so curious you purposefully tap the breaks (causing a bumper-to-bumper stall) so you can slow down enough, do your best giraffe impersonation to catch an up-close-and-personal view of what’s going on.
Your curiosity is most certainly peaked but generally, not enough to pull over to the side of the road, step out of your car and offer your assistance.
Now, how about the time you get a personal invitation from a friend or colleague asking you to view a video they thought was especially good. And after you watch that video, at the end the narrator invites you to take a step with them (maybe access another great piece of information). Because the video was so alluring, and peaked your interest you say to yourself, ‘sure, why not’ and wait for your next gem to arrive.
Both situations generate curiosity but one caused personal ACTION while the other only peaked unattached curiosity.
And that’s where Conversational Marketing Mastery comes into play…
